Balfor Continental 480

The Continental 480 - Special has a cutting diameter of 48 cm and a cutting force of 22 tons, all this is done with a simple joystick. The joystick controls all functions for easy operation and reduces user fatigue, allowing the operator to have full control of his fingertips. The machine has a feeding conveyor belt and log grips hold the wood while the high-speed hydraulic chainsaw cuts the wood to your set length. Outriggers hold the wood as it is being cut and then release it into the splitting chamber. It comes standard with hydraulic ports to connect a log or loading platform. The Continental 480 firewood processor, available in tractor PTO and 3-phase electric versions, is fantastic machine, the PTO version only needs 50hp to run the machine
