The Continental 480 - Special has a cutting diameter of 48 cm and a splitting force of 22 tonnes, all controlled by a simple joystick.The joystick controls all functions for ease of use and reduces user fatigue, allowing the operator to have full control with their fingertips.The machine has a feed conveyor belt and log handles to hold the timber while the high speed hydraulic chainsaw cuts the timber to the length you set. The supports hold the wood as it is cut and then release it into the splitting chamber.It comes standard with hydraulic ports for connecting a log or loading platform.The Continental 480 firewood processor, available in tractor PTO and 3-phase electric versions, is a fantastic machine, the PTO version only needs 50 horsepower to run the machine
